I am native Japanese and a professional patent translator living in England. I have also passed a Japanese language teaching competency test and have a qualification as a professional Japanese teacher.

I often encounter Japanese words in England, but sometimes I am not sure if they are used correctly or whether there is a better way of translating the meaning. Just as you sometime see incorrect or amusing English used in other countries (including Japan), I sometimes see odd Japanese used in England too.

My partner is a designer and lived in Japan for 6 years and has a good Japanese ability (Japanese Language Proficiency Test level 3), So we believe we can provide a great service by communicating with you in both English and Japanese.
